Berg IDA carburetor

Hi everyone! Looked around but found no or too little info. Will like to know if some of you had direct experience on using these Berg IDA carburetors(any size) on a street car? Their advertising says "properly designed idle and progression circuits for easy tuning and smooth acceleration". Was wondering if they are actually smoother than Weber IDA with 3rd progression modification? I do not have and maybe will never have any application for those or even a Weber IDA but since they were launched I had always wanted to read feedback about them.
Thanks

The Berg carbs are basically modified webers. Gene Berg found that he was running out of fuel at full throttle runs. The float bowl was enlarged, and the third progression hole was added to help in tuning from idle to WOT. They work great and are too much carb for almost anything under 2 liters. Had a set on a 2332 and they screamed. So much airflow, and sounded really mean at wot.
