Sick of Freezing feet
I haven't liked how the rear heater flaps and the defroster flaps are connected to one lever for quite some time now, so I devised an awesome fix. I made another lever to control the rear flaps. It works awesome, I will get some pics, in case some of you have the same problem, and don't want to get rid of the control for the rear in case you have people in the back seat.

Yea, I'd like to see some pics on that.
Been thinking about running a tube under the front seats to blow out to the front to warm my feet. |

I really don't see the problem... If your heating system is up to scratch there isn't an issue.
Honestly I've never been so warm as I get in the beetle ('77 standard) Demisting is still an issue but heated screens and a fresh air blower box would tackle that better. LH lever down and RH up and its like an inferno. |

Hey Laz,
Pulling this thread out from the dead almost a year later. What did you use for your outlet piping and exhaust piping? -Dave

if you are talking about for hot air in the cabin i used 300 degree brake ducting. there are ton of places to get it on the internet. every where from ebay to race sites.the pic has the inlet from the cabin as a abs plastic hose, i have since replaced it as well. more for looks than anything. the stock works great it just dont look cool enough for me. if you are talking about for the combustion chamber i used the stock header that came with the system for exhaust and i went to a vacuum cleaner junk yard and got the fresh air hose. i think that particular hose came from a Stanley steamer carpet shampooer
