changing front arms

i was thinking of changing from a 3 bolt suspension to a 2 bolt but i don't know how hard of a task it would be and would the arms bolt up the same way there seems to be a better choice of shocks for the later 2 bolt setup

Just did it.. it can be done..

Do a search under Loaf.. you should be able to find it, if not just post your questions..

There are a few threads here and at Superbeetlesonly that identify what is needed.. pretty straight fwd, except that you will need to change the top strut mounts to early ones, and you may or may not have a tie rod issue depending on which spindles you use.. if there are to short use the late bug ones..
