Type 3 break questions

Okay i've search this forum for days and I have a few questions.

Would I be right in thinking that I can buy a 944 front hub, spindle and break assembly and bolt it in place of my old type 3 assembly, with some modification to the tie rod hole (Something about resizing it). Or would that be to easy.

If not then, how can I go about sorting the hub. I'm not to keen on having my old disc machined down, as I will be running 15" porsche wheels.

Can I modify a porsche hub to fit to the VW spindle? If I go this route I presome that I will need a means of fitting the caliper to the hub assembly, how will i be able to overcome this.

I think that I will use either the original vw master cylinder, a mark one golf M/C, or go full on with the porsche M/C

back to the searching

Many thanks
