Type 4 Valve Gaps

I would like to adjust the valves on my motor. Its a Type 4, 2.4cc.
Any recomendations greatfully accepted

I've done a bit of research on this and the general feeling I got was that for standard alloy pushrods go with 0.006" and for steel pushrods go with 0.003" for street use. Some racers go with a loose zero but thats not recommended for the street.

I have ceramics and chromoly pushrods and have been told to run zero lash.

My pushrods are standard VW so I will go with 0.006" and see how I get on.

I run zero on the street and track sith Chromoly pushrods..

The last time I had to actually adjust a valve in my 912E was february 2003- (about 55K miles ago) they have ran zero lash since that engine's conception in September 2002... I have checked them every 4-5K or when i think about it and they are all spot on....
