Quiet On The Home Front....

Seems like there's been very little activity lately on this site, I'm wondering if the the economy is causing some projects to come to a grinding halt?

I'd say a combination of that and weather..

Plus I know I have to deal with end of year stuff..

Maybe after santa goes back north, we can focus on the more enjoyable things in life

My car is in the corner of an unheated garage for the Canadian winter months, in deep hibernation.

That and the holiday season put a damper on my fun. But i do have lots of little projects to keep my busy in my cozy basement. such as getting my rear disc kit ready to install, making up some custom bits, cleaning and prepping others. always busy here!

Hi

We have the opposite problem, getting hot and after the heavy rain we have mozzies the size blow flies, hard to work on your car and swat at the same time.

Im still at it!
After one full season of driving my 1303 around (in and out of state) to Auto-X events totaling 5000 miles I developed an oil leak... that soon turned into a flat cam/lifters... that then turned into building a 2276cc t-1 (was 1915cc).
So this winter I have my engine to rebuild, cage to complete, and a few small details on the brakes to work out aswell as changing my exterior a but with a new "look" (hint, think new 996 RS black/Orange )

BTW my current pics of my bug (90% complete), can be seen here: http://bendubs.com/forums/index.php?topic=564.0

The files are to large to download them here (i dont know how to change the size... i am not into computers )

That's too funny, I was thinking about doing the white/orange combo!!!! I think it's a great option!

Would LOVE one of those Too But at 155,000.00$+ Not going to happen

just the Spec

Despite its widened body and standard roll cage, the new 911 GT3 RS is 20 kg lighter than the 911 GT3 at just 1,375 kg. With a power-to-weight ratio of 301.8 bhp per tonne, it offers 0–100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.2 seconds and a maximum speed of 310 km/h (193 mph).

That's one hell of a performer, but it looks like a kid puked on it after eating too much halloween candy.

They wanted the car to match what comes up after a ride in one of these at the Nurburgring...just so you always match, the owners of those cars wouldn't want to be caught dead puking up yellow driving a orange car! Of course you have to have 2 of them, one with winter colors and one with summer colors, white only after labor day!

I still want one though...

Yep... the black and orange colors baby! If you have seen the combo in PERSON you would know how vibrant and exciting it is (not to mention sinfully sexy).
At our shop we have two customers with the 2007 GT3RS, one with the black and orange and the other is orange and black
