Modified rear trailing arms... (?'s)

Don't flame me for slamming my car... this is not for track or racing-

Ok, so long story short, we are making modified lowered rear trailing arms. I have the jig made and need to know if I made a mistake before cutting into the arms.

What we are doing-

We are raising the rear part of the trailing arm 4" in order to retain some of the suspension travel and not have the spring plate/ bump stop interference.

Here are some pics to show what we are doing (EXCPET WE ARE DOING IT A LITTLE NICER) These are not pics of my trailing arms...

When he made his, I am not sure he used a jig to insure that everything stayed in line. We are however- althought I need to know one thing.

When I made the jig, I extended the trailing arm by 1/4" by using 1/4" plate as my drop plate. My question is will this affect the toe too much? We will be lowering it more on top of the 4" drop from the plate.

I know people extend there spring plates up to 1/2" when going low.
