H&R Triple-C bolts (camber adjustment bolt)
Those who have this (or have seen them in action), how much adjustment have you gotten from them?
Im have about 1/8 POSITIVE camber on my 74 super with Porsche 944 spindles and adjust-a-stuts. I was thinking the use of the H&R triple-c bolts would get my camber back where it should be, safely. I was going to just "slot" the upper mounting hole on the strut, but i am having mixed opinions on that idea now. i did this mocking up my suspention with stock struts... but with the new ones i got i was wanting to do as much "bolt on" as i could to adjust the camber back. Also, any one have an opninon on sloting the bolt holes? Thanks, Jonathan

Hello Jonathan
I guess your struts don't have a slotted hole with camber adjust? The golf mk1 and the 944 both have a slotted hole with a cam type bolt. The H&R bolt is one option is you would prefer not to slot the strut hole. The other is the Topline camber plus kit. This uses an offset steel center to the inner control arm bush so adds much more adjustment. Cheers Jeremy

Topline told me that the camber+ Kit only adds ONE degree of adjustment over stock in each direction, for about $55 bucks.
And the H&R triple-C bolts allow for 3 degrees or adjustment... the h&r bolts are cheaper (around $40). I think i will try the triple-c bolts first. Jonathan

i used the camber+ kit with the 944/maxx setup and it helped some but did not move the control arm out far enough to remove the positive camber...so...i used the HR TripleC to move the top of the spindle towards the struts to remove more positive camber...have not measured it..yet but its closer than it was..
if your not far off from where you need to be...i would use the hr ...it is also easier/quicker to install and adjust than the camber+ also make sure to use part# tc212 instead of part# tc112 as on the hrsrping website....the website is incorrect...i learned the hard way and had to return/reorder  |

Well I got my 212 triple-c camber bolts (thanks for the warning on the part numbers... I double checked using their measuring guide and the 212 IS the correct one).
I do not have my lower controle arms on at the moment (waiting for some new bushings to come. so i cant see if it works yet. I will let you guys know what's up once I get the front end on the ground. Later, Jonathan
