VKG site blogs
hey VKG guys. in an effort to get the blogs rolling on the VKG site and to have some place for car specs, i have added a blog for each of you (or most of you at this point, i still have some more to do). in your blog i already made one post that will have your car specs like the old site. all you have to do is open that post and hit the edit icon. once in there you will see the places in the code to add the info. if you hit any snags, get with me. it is pretty easy once you are looking at it though.
the downside is that as soon as you start posting to your blog for project build info, etc, that post moves down the list. i will come up with a better way to do this at some point, but this will have to do for now. the idea was to make it something you can maintain to save me some time. again, let me know if you have any problems. we need to get some content on that site to make it worth visiting. that is on you guys to do.

oh and if you want to change the pic i put in there or if you need to add one, all you do is go to you gallery, open the pic you want, right-click and hit properties. in the prop window, triple-click the location/URL and right-click then copy. that copies the location of the image to your clipboard. go back to your blog, edit the post and in the beginning code where you see "img src=", paste the content from your clipboard into that field where you already see a URL (or inbetween the quotes ("") if you don't have an image already).
if i didn't create a blog for you and you want to take it on, just copy all of the code out of someone else's first post in their blog and copy it into your post.

Cool beans, I like what you're doing.
Thanks for all the hard work. You Da Man!! I know you're far from finished, but when I look at the list of blogs to edit mine, there is no edit icon on the right, like the galleries have. Hope it helps. :agree:

Thanks
