Nice. I like the shape of the 356 very much. Pity they usually need a lot of welding or a lot of money.

agreed. i really want one as a daily driver ,but cost prohibitive. i wish someone were stupid enough to make a 356 coupe kit car and keep it cheap. could do some nice underpinnings and a big TIV with a/c for a great commuter car.

you gotta love the 356. there is a guy here in town who has an extremely well done replica with a raby motor. i've seen and talked to him at a few parking lot-type meets, and the sad thing is he know nothing about the car, other than the info i just gave you. :shrug:.
and since we're dreaming, i'd prefer an early 911, like an old rs, over a speedster. more visually appealing to me. but i'd keep the 356 for a sunny day picnic in the hill country kinda car. |
