she found her way home
ran up to jake's and got my refreshed (and facelifted) engine last night. may have a little work to do in the carb bases i bought (to make sure my c/f air filters would fit) standup a little higher than most. just the arms that hold the linkage. they *may* foul the decklid.
just have to: clean up my old lines and cooler from metal frags finish relocating the cooler rewire for the VW alt bypass wiring from old external reg relocate or replace (with CSP unit) the breather box get this disc in my back healed install the engine then a few misc things on the car like finish the door wiring, install stereo, passanger seat and such.

All of those things are easily do-able by the next dyno day. Just don't over do it and keep your back from healing.
