VDub Engineering

I'm having a problem with Lanner at Vdub engineering responding to my emails or private messages. I shipped my porsche 944 NA hubs to get machined on February 27 of this year. On May 16 I asked when the hubs would be done and Lanner replied "Yeah I'm still trying to get out back order. Yours be done by the end of next week."(actual words) That was the last email I got from Lanner I've tried multiple times emailing with no luck, I even tried from my old email address two days ago and he responded within the same day. I am now 6 months waiting on my hubs. Private messaged him on The Samba with no reply, I even private messaged him on here and still no luck. I kept all receipts from shipping and saved all of my emails from him. I just want my hubs back machined or not. Figured this would be the only way to get in contact with Lanner

Weird, something must be up, he's usually really good at responding. Wish I had a number for you.

I don't know, I've heard nothing but good things about his company, that is what made me turn to him for my brake kit instead of doing it myself. After checking his seller feedback on The Samba he has done the exact same thing before in 2012.

His website (http://vdubengineering.com) lists his phone number as +1 905 302 3087. Not sure if it is current...

I have dealt with him in the past on buying and selling VW items with no problems at all. I have an order in with him (June) for a new project I finally got (build thread coming) I lost contact with him recently too. I know this is a "part time" deal for him and other things can come up in life to distract/derail someone that is not dependent on the income. Sounds like its been too long for you though Oldskool1303 and I'm sorry you are going through this with him...it doesn't sound like him at all.

Lanner is FLAT a moderator here and he just posted on the camber plate thread in suspension. Has he not responded to you yet?

Hello

I'll bring this old thread out again, because I have the same thing as
Oldskool1303

I sent him my hubs in December for refurbishment and I was prepared for the fact that it will take a while.
Mail traffic was good at first, but now nothing works.
A Mail at the end of May also received feedback
Quote:
"Sorry for delays. Im on the road right now but will get back mid week and Ill send you pictures of progress. Thanks
Lanner"

I beleave that he does a great job, but I can not go on like that.
Without the parts I can not measure the adapters for the brake calipers.

Has anyone here closer contact with him and could listen to it?

Thanks for reading

Gerold
