What are you using? I'm running Koni shocks on my super. I have Koni's on all of my cars. I love them. They last long and have lasted longer than any other shock I've had and have adjustable rebound. Its hard to find a shock that lasts, especially on the NE United States roads. To answer your question, yes they are good shocks. As far as lowering, it depends how low you go. If you go too low your shocks will bottom out. If you keep it reasonable they should work.
