I'm assuming once the drivetrain is in it won't be that raked with its hind end sticking way up. Otherwise, I like it ... except for the part that I'm about thirty years too old to look right with it.

I think it looks beautiful, its a great color. The wheels aren't my taste, but the offset and the stance will be great. What was done to the front suspension to get those wheels to fit so nicely?

the fronts are 215x35x18 the rears are 255x40x20 im the same way with the bling the engine will probably be a type 1 2276 kinda mild almost a daily driver i talked to chico at reynolds last weekend he seems to think around 125 - 130 hp. with a type 1 gear box

the front is a cb adjustable beam with 2" dropped spindles. hopefully the rear will sit almost the same when the engine/trans is mounted i pretty sure i already know what the car's name will be anyone wanna guess?

The front end isn't narrowed at all, just dropped spindles and beam?

Honestly, I just plain hate chrome or ultra polished wheels... I think the guetto look just don't work on a bug. The painjob is fabulous though.

Like the body-work, :agree: (Can see that many hours of prep went into it) The bling....not so much. I see more and more of the over-polished rims on Bugs and it does not work well. But then if we had the same taste, our cars will all look the same!

Does the Bling-dub have a sliding rag top? If so, I am amazed how well it blends with the body color. I like the roof antenna, too. That'll be something for my next GL if it has a stereo.
