Side tolerances on rods.

Happy Easter guys.

I am just prior to assemble an 84 x 90,5 T1 with some goodies. The rods are Eagle 5,5" on VW size bearings. They are modified with oil splash grooves to help cool the pistons.

My concern is: How much side clearance should I make on them ?
(I have never built an 84 stoke before) I am tempted to go up to 0,5 mm. It is now 0,25 mm.
The engine will see about 7K as a max.

What are your opinions ?
