Transaxle Tech Book
Does anyone have a type1 IRS transaxle tech manual? I wanted to rebuild and beef up my tranamission myself.

You have to start with the Bentley manuals. You have to get the blue 66-69 one and the orange 70-79 one. If you are playing with any single side cover g'boxes, get the green Bus Bentley manual too. The orange one does not show the exploded views of the shafts, so you have to get the Bus one for that.
Then you should get the Berg tech manual. A catalog from ERCO and Weddle will show you the differences in parts as well as prices. The Haynes manuals are also useful. If you are going to be doing your own trans work, you can get a complete trans tool kit from ERCO for about $175. This is good for the occasional use mechanic. |

Thanks for the help.
Does ERCO and Weddle have a website or contact number? |
