I tried Googling French Look and Euro Look and came up blank. Anyone have any pictures or links to both?

German Look!

Euro look tends to be a little bit too much show and not enough go, and IMO tends toward the tacky side.

French look is usually monochromatic from what I've noticed, but you can have a GL French Look. I really like a nice French GL, they do an amazing job.

Just for the record, and to show my age, the term "Eurolook" was around since the early 1980's and then "Germanlook" came about in the mid-1990's.

As far as I understand it it works like this:

Eurolook:
Solid colour paint jobs, Bling and some changes to engine specs.

French Look:
It is esentially GL, without ANY mechanical mods. That is suspension, engine, seats etc etc etc. And that is because the French is full of TIHS. Any mechanical (in other words, non-manufacturer) modifations render the car non-homologated. And that means, if you get into an accident, and the insurance adjuster is an @$$, you are in BIG trouble. The pay NOTHING.

What type of Coilover setup are you running? I am interested in finding out what shocks, and springs you have. As well as finding out how it is all hooked to the car in the rear.

My understanding is....

German Look: Mostly monochromatic paint schemes & lots of porsche parts

Eurolook, like German Look but with more bling

French Look: Sortof like GL, but no high performance and usually more graphics

Id also like to throw in another look that I cointed the phrase about 5 years ago.

Resto-German: Its a cross of Resto-custom & Germanloook. So you have all stock body
including all chrome trim, bumpers, etc, but you have the porsche wheels & brakes and the big motor.
