Type 1 pressure relief valves

Hey guys -
Quick question.. the oil pressure relief valve that has the groove in it...does that go to the Flywheel side or the pully side of the 2 pressure relief valves.
The directions i have say "Put the pison with the groove on it on front" so its kinda vague to say the least.
The one withe the pulley side has the long spring.(rear of engine)
The flywheel side has the short spring.(Front of engine)
This is a dual relief type 1 case.
1 pressure relief piston is smooth and looks like a piston.
1 pressure relief piston has a groove in it.
Thanks in advance!
- Scott

found out..
Grooved one goes towards pulleys, cup (hollowed out side) down
Flat piston, flywheel side, cup (hollowed out side) down.
Both followed by spring (long one on pully side) short one on flywheel side.
