what tint looks best
on another note, I will be tinting my windows, I had mirrored tint in mind but i hear it looks like crap, honestly i think it will match the wrx rally silver paint quite well all around, i dont care if its illegal, anyone have pics of their beetles or busses with good tinting choices

Reflect-o-tint is not illegal in the People's Republik of Maryland on your Type 2 if you use it on all of the windows rearward of the driver. Tinting restrictions only apply in the cab area.
Since you're asking for opinions I'll give my 2/100ths of a dollar's worth for free. I think you should do exactly that. And then, regular tint the driver and passenger door to the state's max. |

On my Jetta I have mirrored tint with regular tin underneath. Its really dark and its not that reflective.
Heres a pic of a silver beetle with mirror tint

mirrored tint like that is usually not sold at autotive tint places but rather it is tint that is used on houses & building windows. Not sure exactly where to find it.
