DON'T buy new unless you just feel the need to spend money for no reason. i bought an unused used one on ebay for $20. i had to roll the lip on my standard to fit it in though and it is still tight.

Dont buy new!
I called the dealer & was told they are $300
I called a Porsche Junk Yard & was told $100 (used) I bought one on EBay for only $30 (used, but in unused condition)

a 17" Boxster S spare or 911 spare should work, being that S's come with 17's and the 993 brakes fit under 17's as well. There was one on ebay recently. You could call a junkyard or go to a swapmeet and pick one up. I'm looking to get a single 17x7 boxster wheel as my spare.
