Joel's GL Bus project gets a new voice.
I swapped out the muffler on Joel's Bus this weekend. The cheap glasspack was far too loud and had no tone to it. Joel picked out a stainless muffler and tip at Summit (man it is great to have a Summit right down the road) and I had it TIG welded and put it on. It sounds great and the perforance seems to be unchanged (maybe a little more low end grunt). Some drop spindles, bodywork and paint and I think he is there.
I also had to move the 3 important gauges into a pod on the dash because they were imposible to see with the new sterring wheel with out leaning forward. Now we can cuise and see them while relaxing in the seats.
