Get a pair of early front fenders and headlights, then pick up a pair of 911 lenses to fit the early headlights.

I ws also interested in this conversion a while ago, but I couldn't convince myself it would look right on a super beetle.
Anyway, this is a picture I saved from the web:
Looking at it, I still can't make up my mind. It looks nice, interesting and different, but just not right

All a matter of taste, I suppose. I have not yet seen a Super with pre-'67 standard headlights that I like but I do like that wrinkle in the equation.

Hi

I had glass fenders on my old 1302, they took early beetle or 911 headlights.

Sandeep on this site has early fenders and headlights on his late standard. It looks good.

Hmmm, must've missed noticing it. Then again, I have seen Steve C's yellow ride many times and forgot it. I think my opinion might have been shaded by my desire to incorporate the bullet turn signals standard bugs got in the states 1955-57. The wider fenders don't have the dimples that allow for the bullets I like so much. So my memory and opinion may be shaded as I never really considered early headlights by themselves. I feel badly now.

Which head lights are these. It's also good to note that these fenders on the super beetle look stock. I like this conversion.

Hoffmann in Germany has appropriate glass fenders for the 1302-1303 to fit pre 67 or early 911 headlights.
