A coil-over shock or strut does not know what the original spring was built for. The overall length of the spring (adjustable perches help here)and the strength of the spring will determine if the vehicle can have enough clearance and be too lightly or stiffly sprung. If the spring is the same diameter it will fit the perches. It's all in the set-up. Then you get to worry about the valving in the shocks or struts! This is why experience with the vehicle involved makes paying extra the first time worth it when you don't have to do it three times to get it right. Trust me, you should see my spare parts from when I did not know who to go to in the first place. Unless you can afford to be wrong a few times, I would recommend buying from some company that has done it alot of times right. Save up and pay the extra once.

Thanks,

Randy
