What to use to bond a carbon fibre remmelle roof spolier to a bug painted in 2 pack?

What glue/??? to use to bond a carbon fibre remmelle roof spolier to a bug painted in 2 pack?



Got my first parcel from carbon Joe today. Headlamp rings, roof spoiler and firewall kit. Nice kit

No-more-nails, wonderfull stuff!

Joking asside you could try clear silicone sealant? Or hows about thin double sided sticky foam ribbon, or tape?

sam go to your local paint supplier and get a tube of tiger seal made by u-pol it is avaiable in black, white and grey its about six quid a tube it is similar to the stuff they bond in windscreens with.

Hi

Be careful what you use, some glues, sealants etc. are very acid, Im pretty sure windscreen sealant would be a safe bet.

3M brand double sided body tape, it holds the rear spoiler on my Jetta @ 120MPH. This is the stuff the factory uses on most cars, here in USA anyway, for side moldings, bumper covers, etc.
