Brake upgrades for type 3's?
What options are available for bigger brakes on a type 3, Im going to be putting Porsche 5 lug wheels on. Can I put porsche brakes? I have a 70 fastback

This subject has been covered on here in the past. Do a search for "type 3 brakes", or something like that, in the brakes section. You might want to check out the best offset, and how wide of wheel you can fit under those T3 fenders also. The search feature on here is you're friend

A quick upgrade is Type 72 and later callipers, you'll need to change the stub axles as well. Steve

I'm putting 993 brakes on my notch.....using 924 front hubs modified to fit t-3 spindle with custom brackets for the calipers anmd the rear i'm using 944t aluminum trailing arms the 993 stuff bolts right to it
