915 placement
Hi gang,
I don't post much but I figured you guys would have the best answers. I have a 1979 915 tranny and I'll be hooking it up to a EJ25 Subie engine. I'm running stock IRS arms but have converted the 915 flanges and the stub axles to 930 CVs. I want to move the tranny forward and up a bit but I'm wondering what my limits are. This is going in a kit car so I can hack stuff and make it work. Any ideas, options or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! Jeff

Hi
According to this website http://www.blindchickenracing.com/Ho...joints_101.htm the 930 cv is good for 25 degrees. When I moved my transmission forward I drew it out on the garage floor with chalk to see what could be done. Steve
