More brake bias and road tests

A while back we beat the heck out of a brake bias thread... And now the results!

My setup is a '66 Westi with early 944 calipers and matching ATE 944 master cylinder.

Well I took the interior out for repairs and took it for a drive... Then goofed around with panic stops, as it sucks with a full interior with stuff flopping around.

Results were that the rear would lock up before the front under hard braking. Not dramatically, just a touch before the front. BUT the problem I think was that the weight shift was extreme the back felt like it was almost in the air! Making it too light for any tire to hold on. Seriously this bus stop like crazy.

I am not sure if this is a big issue or not at this point. Overall I am VERY pleased with the stopping power and think once I add the Westi interior back in it will even out again as it will fatten up the rear.

Just wanted to post some real world info.
