new again
hey, i just re-registered, and i'm back with a fury. and some dumb questions.
i just took my dad out kart racing for his b-day, and that **** was a blast. i've got the old itch again to start road-racing (karting seems too expensive, and i'd rather race a car), and i'm finally in a place where i can afford it. so here's my dumb question. tube frame? is it worth it? can it be done? i really don't like supers, and i'd like to get in on some spokes.org/autox stuff within the next year, and i'd like to build a race car. so should i really try to build a whole damn tube frame set up for a standard, or just bite the bullet and get a super? what are your thought and opinions. i don't have a mega dollar budget, but i can afford to pay the bills and play on the side. |

Put a budget together (or just go with it) and fugure out what kind of racing and classes you want to run, then build around that. you dont want to build somthing thats out of class.
For platforum, it's really what you like best.... but the super will be better than a standard in most cases (handling wise). Welcome back... cant wait to see another race preped beetle! Jonathan
