spending too much??
do you ever have one of those weeks when cash seems to always heading out of the door to pay for parts for the VW?
17x205/40 tyres Super squishies + cam/lifters, straight cuts pauter 1.4's Jenvey throttle bodies & thats just in the past week. berg5/quaife box to pay for soon too !!! I sometimes wonder if I should have got a bank loan for 964 RS & sold the bug. Prob would have worked out cheaper in the long run & hassle free Just thought i'd have a minor rant . Prob feeling like this because its the hottest day of the year over here in the UK & my cabrio is still not finshed

The Porsche would have cost way more... you would have Moded that car too so at least you are buying VW upgrades just think of the cost of Porsche upgrades.... I will stick with my VW project and when finished smoke the doors off of that stock Porsche and He will be the one thinking man I should have bought a VW it would have been cheaper and less head ache.... Keep it up you will enjoy the result of your Labor of Love!!!

I asked that myself a couple of times....but I remind myself that when my bug is done I would never think about a 911 again.
The bug is one of a kind....that you build from scratch. The only fair comparrison would be an old 911 that you restore and completely modify. Alex |
