It sounds good, it dosn't sound like a other original mufflers for vw, you feel like riding on a honda or something, definitely sounds like a japanese car.

Thumbs up

This seems nice. Is it a straight-through design, like this one:

I want to buy a muffler for my type4 engine 4>1 manifold and I am looking for this sound.
What size is your inner pipe in diam?

Thanks
Martin

It's one and half inch, It helps a lot because of its straight design, there is no restriction, the gas exits quickly so my car revs faster, some people dosn't like it bec. they say its from a japanese car, but who cares? the important thing is I enjoy doing things different.

Here are some other pics. thanks.

Nice.

About the japanese stuff:
first it does not have to be from japanese car because all modern sport cars (especially german) use this muffler design (BMW M3 and M5 FY)

and second I noticed that people in US especially, have something against japenses cars but in Europe its different, this cars are nice after all, as lond as you see them in the rearview mirror

But lets get back to the muffler, how about the outer diam off the muffler, any ideas?
I just want to guide my search after something that works.
Thanks mate.

Martin

I got the idea. I'll be using 2 similar Borla mufflers, one on each side. (crossing by the valve covers)

thanks for the info.
