Oil pump cover filter

Does anyone here have expierence with the oil pump cover/filter set-up? I do not have the funds at the moment to install a full flow system, but would like to have my oil filtered. I also would like to know what you guys believe is the best weight for a car that sees 0 to 110 degrees F over the course of a year. I have seen conflicting information on this subject. Thanks, Ryan

The Mexican Bugs used'em, but I would go full flow or leave stock until you can go full flow. Just my opinion. 30W oil works good for all around driving. If you can find 20W that would be good in the colder months.

What do you think of aircooled.net's system that uses the adaptor instead of tapping the case?
