215mm clutch cover height
Hi Folks,
If anyone has a 215mm clutch cover lying around, would you please be able to measure the height of the diaphram when sitting on a flat surface, plus also count how may fingers (springee things) they have. Reason being, I see a lot of the older Audi 5 clyinder engines, 924 Porsche engine and a couple of the water cooled VW engines had a 215mm Clutch assy with Cover/Diaphram Part # 035-141-117E. It measures 53.5mm from a flat surface to the top, and I was wondering if these would be interchangable with the Aircooled kombi/912 215mm clutch? Many thanks in advance, James |

I'm not sure if this will help. I have a new, never used Kennedy 215mm pressure plate sitting in front of me. I measured it, and it came to 1.375" which I converted and it came to 47.625mm. There are 18 fingers.
Sorry I don't have an original pressure plate to measure. Good luck
