That 80's Thread

OK so this worked out well on another Forum I used to hang out at....

Time to dig through the attic or that closet and post up your fondest memories of the 80's! OK so this won't work for our younger members, but bare with us and pay no attention to the ramblings of a bunch of old farts! But if you pay attention you just might learn something....OK maybe not.......LMAO
BLAST away guys! I know some of you still have pics of you in your Mullet...Er umm some of you may still have a Mullet!

Anyway.....

Put on your Parachute pants blast that MC Hammer or Twisted Sister CD and bust a move.....er....ahh, show us your best 80's stuff!

Bueller?.........Bueller?...........Anybody?...... ...

OK I'll start this thing off!

Ahhh the 80's!! Such fond memories!

My gigantic hair with about 3 cans of in it! I had about 5 cabbage patch dolls....and these damn things... What was I thinking? They were ugly as hell and even though they look ventilated they made my feet sweat and I always felt like I was going to slip out of em!
Sorry...I lack some creativity at the moment. I'm a bit tired. Im just rattling off stuff I remember at moment..which isnt much.
What I do know is that everything I wore HAD to be neon! Even my nail polish. And leg warmers...jeez! Im going to have to think on this one. I dont wanna kill your thread before it even gets started. hehe

I hope my kids never find pics of me from the 80's.... that's all I have to say about it....

Oh yeah.... Ferris Bueller.... the ultimate feel-good movie. If you haven't seen it, pick it up..... and get BladeRunner while you are at it.....

....I think I'm gonna dig up some of my The Cure tapes.....

God I'm old....

Besides all the girls in high school wearing tight Guess jeans, this is my favorite memory of the (late) '80s...

This is pic of my scrawny 13 year old self on my DT360 taken 'bout 1988.

Remember Freezy Freaky gloves? They changed color in the snow?? And the hypercolor t-shirts? I never wanted one because if I was warm in certain places I didnt want people to know that! WTF?

That's just WRONG!!

I remember when Julian Lennon's 1st single came out I had the biggest crush on him. Mullet and all! I heard "Much Too Late For Goodbyes" last night for the 1st time in a looooong time! Jeez. That song was released in 1984! I was 9! That was only 4 years after John Lennon was shot! Wow...I just realized that.
His voice is IMO awesome and eerily similar to his father's. I know the 1st time I heard "Valotte" I thought I was hearing a John Lennon song that I had never heard before. I love that song. Where did he go?
