66 GL from OZ

Hi all, been a long time reader of this forum but never posted, but thought i would share my project with all of you guys. I am building a 66 beetle which i am putting on 70 Semi auto pan converted to manual, brakes are 87 944 Turbo 4 pots all round using a golf M/C, fronts are on dropped spindles, i had this conversion done by Lanner, it was cheaper for me to send my parts to him in Canada than it was to get it done locally. I was met with quite a few balank stares when asking engineering shops if they could do this job. Wheels are 16 x 6, 16 x 7 boxster wheels, trans is a SSC type 3, with all the good stuff, 9 tooth mainshaft, Kombi 002 3rd and 4th coarse gears, 4 x 10/15 spider gears, 3.875 R&P and the engine will be a 2270 type 4 OF COURSE, with a Raby DTM, with 44 IDF's. This will be my daily driver so the missus can have my 04 Golf GTI, love that car but the aircooled beckons me every day. Here is some pics for you guys, body work is minimal and am yet to put body on pan. Cheers Damo.

interesting rear anti-roll bar, I've never seen one to fix onto the shock mounts before. Looks like a nice project
