STi engine mounts???

What is everyone doing about engine mounts on their subies? Are you holding the engine only on the transmission adapter?

Thanks,
Randy

For now, yes. But I've been thinking about getting a crossmember and modify it.
Basically extend the sides and mount it with some kind of plates inside the enginecompartement.

Not sure if this makes sense....

Rob.

I'm the same way. For now it'll just be hanging there. I should add though I have a 5-bar Kafer cup brace from Lanner. I thought about doing something with the stock mounts, which I have.

If you have a cage, that would be a perfect mounting point. I also tried to think ahead if I go with a 915. Which I'm getting nervous now about the 914. But that's neither here nor there. I also thought about making something off of the frame horns. Give it just a little more support. I'll have the exhaust finished first.

Good luck, and tell us what you come up with.
