Early phone dial 23mm offset 15x7 wheels...
Will these fit a super or late standard with 2" widened fenders? I came into these pretty much free on a 944 parts car and I'd like to use them if I can.
thanks, jim |

Bueler... Bueler... hehe, no worries everyone. I'll stick em on once I get the suspension swapped over and figure it out from there.

ive been looking into porsche fitment a little and on a super 7" will fit under standard fenders
23et will fit the rears but on the front ive been told 40+et with my choice of 52et needing a 10mm spacer on the front. you also need slimmer struts to standard. |

I had these wheels (7x15", ET23.3) on my '73 standard bug and they fit front and back with no rubbing. This was on redrilled stock brakes and with stock size wings (fenders). The bug was lowered all round, adjusters up front and 1 spline at the rear.

Got the rear suspension on, still need to order up some ball joints for the front. Gonna need some wide fenders to tuck these wheels.
When I get the front rolling on the porsche wheels, I'll figure out what size fenders I need and start on the body. |

You've had almost a year. How's it going?
Did you get the fronts on? |

Thanks for the answers, you two... I'll post up some pics of it rolling rough on the susp/wheels when I get a chance to play with it. In the process of moving right now, so it hasn't been getting the attention it needs. Soon though, soon. jim |
