Anyone know of any tech docs on replacing the front quarter? My 68 car was hit in the right front while parked. Yep hit and run. Had it parked away from everyone. Someone must have seen it parked out in the north forty, went out to see it and then backed into it. Damn the luck....
Fender is beyond fixing, quarter was a possiblitlity but just figured might as well replace it, keep the filler off the car. I ordered a new quarter, had a fender from a 69 and close to having the damaged quarter off. Pictures are coming. Thought someone may have already done this and could give me the advice of experience. Also the trunk seal, the new part did not come with the lip that you slide the trunk seal into it. Closer examination appears to be a small piece of tubing that is cut, straighten on the bottom and attached.
Any suggestions or help is appreciated.
