84 944, 98% mint condition

Okay, I'm fickle and ready for something different. Looking for a 5 series BMW, need a bigger back seat for the kids, that and I have no space for a new project car. So the 944 is going out the door.

65k original miles, overall excellent shape. Has usuall 944 dash cracks, can be covered.

Engine: 02 -- 2.5l 8v na
Transmission: 8Q -- 5 speed with limited slip
Paint: LY5B -- Copenhagen Blue
Interior: QX -- Brown

Options:
C02 49-state catalyst
220 Limited Slip differential
454 Cruise Control
650 Sunroof
946 Leather/Leatherette Seats

Cold AC and cd player. New tires.

Lots of records on the car, good maintenence history.

Everything works except the power antenna

Drive this car any place.

Asking $4500

Has the 60,000 mile service been done or at least the timing belt and or tensioner. Could you post some interior pics and a pic of the engine. How is the condition of the exhaust, normal amounts of rust??? I have looked at a few 944s and all of them had exhaust leaks from rust holes in the mufflers. Thanks...

Well, just closed a deal on the 635csi. Going to do the swap this saturday. Guy has sent tons of pictures, looks great. Wife thinks I'm on crack.

I'd upload a pic, but the site's not co-operating.

Valves dancing on pistons is a bad thing. That would have put a damper on my driving fun... and my wallet if the belt broke.

Wow, that sucks if you don't have a 20" monitor, let me see if I can fix it.

Well, made it home in one piece with the new BMW. The car is as nice as it looks in the pictures, maybe better. Has all the go fast goodies installed already, so all I need to do in swap out the tires.

There are a few cosmetic things to take care of over the next few weeks, but nothing major at this point. The drive to work this morning was somewhat shorter Think I'll start putting $5 in the dash everytime I drive it to cover speeding tickets.
