Question 901 in a Bus??, anybody?

How big of a job would this be?

I have the tranny, w/type 1 size flanges.

Will this help me to have a better cruising top speed?

Bus is a 71 Bay with 1641 engine. Three rib 68-70 tranny.

What would the top speed be possibly with the 901? I read a 3 rib is aroumd 58mph..

Thanks

This site shows all ratios for 901 & 915 trans: http://members.rennlist.com/chuxter/901&915ratios.htm

you should be able to find the code 901/?? on the bottom of the case.
