I'm considering a classic trip this year. Not sure if I'll drive or fly, would love to drive...but amazingly flying is cheaper!

I've wanted to go for years. I spent 4 years in dental school only an hour away from there and never went. Might be able to hook it in with a SoCal visit.

Jason, you're a bit north of me in Modesto, but it'd be cool to drive down with you. Superman is going to tag along with me. Maybe we can coordinate some times to see if you can drive down together.

Hey Steve, not sure if you've heard...but your travel plans might be a problem:

Quote:
Pierside Parts Classic moves to a new location and Date for 2014!

New date will be Saturday, June 21 at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, CA.

We all knew that it was going to happen sooner or later, as the long-time home for the Bugorama Classic event was going to change. For years, we have enjoyed the parking lot at Irvine Meadows, but for 2014, we are moving across town to Costa Mesa, to the huge, lush, Orange County Fairgrounds. So set your calendars for Saturday, June 21, which is two weeks later in the month than usual. How this change will effect the other Classic Weekend events is not fully known. We do know, that the OCTO will remain at the Long Beach Veteran's Stadium on Saturday, June 7, as they are locked into that location and date. As we get more information about these changes, we will pass them on to you. As before, the Classic is put on by Bugorama Promotions.

Pierside parts is going to have their usual Friday "open house" on June 20th.

Hi

I'm so disappointed that this has happened, I'm going to try to change me travel plans but it will cost more $ I think, but there's still lots to do in LA then anyway and there's always next year.

We are doing Season 3 of Longmire which now runs to the 27th of June so we won't be able to make it either. But we leave for Pikes Peak on the 28th if anyone is going?

Hi

Not long now. I managed to get the extra time off work and the change of flights only cost me $100. I'm coming over with Birdman and meeting up with some friends who run 2 Beetle drag cars in Australia. There doing Route 66 and will meet Birdman and myself on the May 31st, we will have lots of time to kill before the classic.

If your keen to meet up send me a PM with your mobile number, errr sorry cell number and we can meet up

Steve
