Hi

That's a good price on the rear shocks.

How much lighter in the rear end would a 944 be over a Beetle? I'm thinking in terms of the shock bolts taking whole weight of the the rear end of the car.

Not that much I was surprised to learn..
Unless you run heavy air-air intercoolers and a heavy turbo in the back too

Rear Coilovers

I just wondered if these would be of any help to some peoples applications,the rear lower bolts look like they would be very useful ?
I wonder if they would be any use with alex's uniball set up ?

Yeah, that lower bolt is mandatory for rear coil over with alu arm and without torsion bars imo. It can also be bought seperate at another 944 specialist in the US iirc for about $150,-/set.

all nice stuff .think its all made in uk .i fitted uniball set up to .had to put one inch spacer on the top bolt of the rear coil over .to make it clear .

my mate sells the protech coil overs, also DUB CrAZEE just fitted a set of rear coilies to his looker he likes them

the red 9 ones work well .got them at lowest setting .could do with going lower just for looks .do you have a link on dub crazee stuff thanks martin
