Lazy's ride (not so lazy)
Here is a few updates on the project...I've recieved the 993 rear suspension assembly from LA porsche dismantlers and i got the ej20tt pulled apart for the most part. Here are a couple pictures of the suspension, brakes, and turbos.
1st picture is of the left half of the rear suspension 2nd picture is of whole rear end constructed and i'm crossing my fingers hopeing it'll work 3rd picture is of the differance between 951 (cayenne turbo) brakes compared to 993 brakes 4th picture is my favorite and i get giggley when i think about this freaking thing, New turbo thats going on the ej20 (the bigger one...) vs the original primary turbo that came on the car. I realize that there is a ding in the inlet, thankfully its not on the pressurized side of the turbo plumbing. Enjoy and wish me luck Russell

More pictures cause i don't know how to insert them. I still need to measure how far up down and side to side the mounts need to be. My plan is to cut off anything thats in the way and to mount the front "eyes" to the torsion housing and the rears to the cage including the strut mounts, and engine mounts.

PS do you still have the porsche rear end parts? the trailing arms and brakes and all that? I never forgot aobut it, and i did have the money, but i spent it on the XR7 instead :/

The Tbird has been a great car, i drove it for about a year with no problems but the water pump went out in the exact same spot as the audi's motor blew up...the next day!

That looks like the turbo off of a Cummins B, or C series diesel. A gas engine prolly won't have enough heat or CFM to spool it up.

a turbo from a 2.9L dieselengine will work on a 2L gasengine! The gasengine produce warmer gases |

Ture Jonas, but that one looks like it's off of a 5.9 L6 from a Dodge truck. The huge exhaust impeller, and housing likely wouldn't be optimal for a low displacement gas engine's lesser exhaust volume. IIRC, the 935 did have a compressor turbine about that size though...
