Anyone seen a ragtop kit I can buy?

I'm lookin to trick out my 1303 Super w/ a Ragtop conversion.
Wondering if anyone has heard of a company that sells 'em and if so can you recommend any that don't leak?
I remember somewhere there was a kit, but I haven't seen anything since and can't remember where that was?

Any leads would be appreciated.

Use a ragtop clip, actually cheaper and only way to get a decent piece.
I've searched a lot on these, if you could get a Webasto (sp?) unit, that would be the ONLY new kit to consider but they only do new car stuff. DO NOT get one of those Street Beat deals, total junk.

Go with an original all the way. The ONLY way to go. We've put a roof in one car already, it was cake. We're about to do another.

Believe it or not, but try posting a wanted ad on the samba. Those things work, my buddy posted one about slide roofs and he's found 2 or 3 I think, but I doubt he'll sell them. I asked earlier tonight. He'll just sit on them incase he needs them for another project.

I have an old rag top that is for sale. It is the body only. I think it is also an oval window. I am pretty sure all of the mechanism for the top is there. The heater channels are rotten through and the rear reck is also rotten. If you want it then make me an offer. I dont know about the other parts of the body as I have not seen it in about 4 months.

if you want it you can email me at macoffin@cox.net or call me at
(405) 924-0933

hope this helps,
mike

how big is the actual opening? well... make that two questions... one, how big is the opening you have to cut, and two approx how big is the opening with the rag installed and slid all the way back?
