Frame and Power handeling
What is the limit of the 1303 frame in regards to how much power it can handel before it becomes a problem. What would one do to reenforce the frame if they were to pass this threshold? How difficult is the operation?
Thanks for your time. |

It's not realy a frame, more like a 2 piece unibody. The problem is the engine and tranny are supported by framehorns. Hard launches, wheel hop, and torquie engines can twist the snot out of the frame horns. One solution is to install a kafer cup brace, it ties the frame horns to the shock towers and back to each other. Another way is to install a roll cage and connect it to the frame horns. The roll cage will also stiffen the pan in the corners too. I hope that clears up your question a little.
