Wink

I'm going with the stock one piece window look on my rat rod '51. I could use a set of 1 piece windows though.

Ventilation? 2 krotch koolers at 115 in the 1/4.

I used the one pc. windows and i miss the vents. I think that with the new sunroof the vents would flow real nice, some poppouts in the rear with black hardware would be COOL too. Black hardware and a tinted window would look clean.

Dave, exactly!

Thats what I have decided. I am keeping the vent windows & I am also adding a set of rear pop outs too. I will be sending all of the hardware to the powder coaters to have it blacked out.

I live in a warm area and used to fry in my last VW which had one piece windows. I think that the stock windows, blacked out or not, are the only way to go. They are much more functional and fit better than aftermarket one piece kit I have seen.

nex the 1 pieces

1-piece windows suck!! they leak you have more wind noise (as is it's not bad enough) also you must remove the facotry door stops. BAD idea.

I took my time and diid a good install on mine and I have no leaks or noise problems, I don't know if the regulators will last so I have a couple of them I will keep around. But I do soooooo miss the vents.

It has been decided.
Thanks guys for all your help.
I was leaning towards 1 piece windows, but after hearing alot of
horror stories I am going to keep my vents & powder coat them black.

I really enjoy my vents when I go down highway
