Hi

I'm collecting parts for a 2442 Oxy boxer for my sons 1303, I'm not completely on the dark side. I bought the 88 stroker crank and flywheel from the guy at Rancho that was on Samba a while ago, already have a case that has been cutdown

I've been offered some Comp Eliminators 48x40 at very good price.

Will these live on the street as in interstate drives etc or should I go for something a little tamer? I'm going to run single throttle body EFI and a decent cam

will it be turbo? I dont think a N/A single throttle body would have near enough flow to keep those heads happy. A turbo would haul once it spooled but would probably have lag. Probably not the best street heads.

Hi

When I say NA, it will be large throttle body setup, it will use Comp eliminator manifolds with a log on top then a central throttle body.

What I was really worried about was durability.
