Hi everyone, well I finaly got a 1301 this week. So now I don't have any excuses on getting started. Question, the engine is a type one, either 2110 or a 2332. Either of the two will be turboed with blow through Dells. I have been toying with the ideal of re-working the 2332 for this project. I change the cylinder and linners, and have it re-checked for bearing clearening. The 2110 will need to be balenced and lessor parts tracked down. I drove the 2332 about 9 months, ran good, do you all think it will need an overhaul? Or just go with the 2110?
I am going to couple it to a 901 trans, just some freeway flying and keeping up in traffic.
