The aluminum for the solids speak for themselves. Are the steel pushrods for the hydros a specific type of steel? How does CrMo fits into the equation? Can the steel or CrMo's be used for the solids? I do not have a full mechanical understanding of just how much our aircooleds grow. I've heard of some type 1 boys using CrMo's with solids. They set them up at zero/loose. Then state that when full warm/hot they are at .015. Is this the optimal ( in run mode ) setting or did I misunderstand. Pushrod101 anyone? Thanks in advance.
