Hi everyone,

Just wondering who you recommend for aftermarket type iv camshafts?

I was looking at FAT's website, but they don't have an email address - which is a bit of a pain.

FYI - camshaft will be for a 2.0 turbo type 4 engine, I'm keen to hear any suggestions on cam specs.

Cheers,
Cam

Hi, Pauter makes cam, Web Cam, European motorworks, Eskiderian also.
But Pauter and Web Cam are on the top for can builders.

I would recommend Pauter also. Their grinds work very well.
For 2 ltr turbo, just pick a moderate duration (between 250-260 at 0.05") and proper lift (0.5" at the valve) and you'll be fine :-)

Thanks Wally! :-)

Do you run the Pauter lifters too?

Didn't even know Pauter sold lifters tbh.
As for lifters, I Always use type 1 lifters, ideally TP light weight tool steels.

Hi,I looked at pauter site for lifters. Yes he does make lifters, but those are roller lifters,a different animal all together.
