I especially like your vert/split deck lid with the vents: very rare!
Nice, congrets.
Just do a little most days and eventually the car is finished. I skipped most days and it took me about 9 years...
Walter
Hey Wally,
to tell you the truth.....this is not a vert decklid. It is my origianl decklid with the vert grills welded into it.
Looks good though doesn't it? :D
Alex
New pics! All one colour now. :D

my 'dream' year car (51 / 52). I love crotch coolers :D
I must pull my finger out & get on with my car :D
Too bad that I actually do not have any crotch coolers for my crotch cooler split.
Oh well.....

Motor is coming late September. So I have some time to get the car together. I do not think it will be on the road until next spring......does not make sense to drive it in the winter in Canada :D.

Alex,
I can store that engine for you in the back of my beetle until late October if you want ! :D
Sandeep
Hey Sandeep, that's sounds like a great idea !
Since I am the guy who is always willing to help, why don't you let me take care of your old engine for you ? :D :D

Alex,
That's awesome!
I do not know if this is a proper question, but I am just curious, how much does a paint job cost in US? -usually-
M.
lol. anywhere from $500-$5000 depending on condition of the body, paint being used, painting in fender well, on and on.
